Basëthic
Operating systems for businesses whose information is scattered across too many tools.
Basëthic is my systems practice. I design the stack, build it, and run it, so CRM, scheduling, time, invoicing, and the books stop living in separate silos and start working as one system. Approval goes only where the stakes are high, such as invoicing. Everything routine runs on its own.
Mergëstalt
An operating stack that connects a business's siloed information in one place, built to work in any industry. For field operations, it ties contacts, jobs, crew scheduling and time, invoicing, and the accounting behind them into one system. For sales teams, it pulls and computes the data they already have and signals when a sales window is opening, so reps act at the right moment instead of digging through reports.
It runs in production today at a landscaping company, on n8n, Baserow, Connecteam, and QuickBooks. The sales side is next, starting with a skincare brand.
DatumLock
Deterministic control for probabilistic AI. A governance layer that sits in front of AI-driven work. Decisions move through draft, review, approve, and commit. Once committed, they are locked as canon and cannot be changed in place, and the build can only reference what is locked. Every write is verified by reading it back. AI projects stop drifting because nothing changes without an explicit step.
LociOS
In development. The build starts after DatumLock.
A cognitive operating system that keeps the structure and lineage of how you think. Notes apps store what you wrote. They lose how an idea formed, what it connects to, and why you believed it. LociOS preserves that, organized around the method of loci, the memory palace, where related knowledge lives in rooms you can return to.
- Thought. The smallest unit you capture.
- Artifact. A thought shaped into a structured, durable object.
- Relationship. A typed, meaningful connection between artifacts.
- Locus. A room for a domain of knowledge. Rooms can nest inside rooms.
- Resurfacing. The system brings back relevant prior knowledge without you searching for it.
The names are deliberate.
- Basëthic (BASE ETH-ik). Base and ethic: the foundation a business runs on, and the discipline of building it so it holds.
- Mergëstalt (MER-geh-stalt). Merge and gestalt: a gestalt is a whole greater than the sum of its parts, and merging is how scattered tools and records become one.
- DatumLock. A datum is a fixed reference point, and DatumLock locks it. It locks what you decide.
- LociOS. Loci are the places knowledge is kept, and LociOS organizes them. It keeps what you know.
The kitchen
An executive chef runs a business, not just a line.
I ran the whole operation. Forecasting covers, ordering and receiving against par levels, costing every dish, setting the budget and holding food cost and labor to it. Scheduling the staff, training them, and running the standards that keep a kitchen consistent on its worst night.
That is a systems job with a dinner rush attached. Inputs are priced and tracked. Prep is planned from the forecast. Stations hand off to each other through a pass. Waste, labor, and margin are measured daily, and when the numbers drift you find the cause and fix the process, not the person.
Every system I build now follows the same rules. Forecast first, measure what matters, put a check where a mistake is expensive, and let the routine run without hand-holding.
